Make Your Own Clothes and Accessories!
By applying some basic fashion techniques your kid will be making amazing garment outfits and/or accessories like string backpacks, pillow covers, doggie rain coats, zipper bags, shoulder strap bags, soft animals/ dolls in this week long camp! She/he will speak fluent sewing when camp concludes! No experience necessary. Sewing machine, most fabrics and patterns are provided. (You may bring your own sewing machine in good working order) . Max 4 kids. Lots of room for personal expression!

Our Scandinavian Fiber Arts summer camps with Pia and Auli in 2020 were a great success, and we are excited to offer 2 more weeks of fun, artistic summer camps this year. We provide an encouraging, joyful and free environment for artistic expression and learning craft skills. We are both craft and textile art teachers from the Scandinavian countries of Sweden and Finland, where modern craft education of our centuries-old traditions is highly valued. We want to share our experience in education and offer these Scandinavian-inspired camp programs here in Marin. The camps are held at Auli’s studio in Mill Valley, where classes will be taught outside on the patio and garden and inside with garage doors open. Canopy tents protect us from rain and sun.
